"MoN Festival," a cultural celebration that envisions the culture of 100 years from now, will be held!
MoN Takanawa: The Museum of Narratives held its grand opening on SAT. March 28th, and to commemorate the opening, we held the MoN Festival. From exhibitions to talk events, diverse cultural figures gathered at MoN Takanawa, whose mission is to "connect culture to the next 100 years," to celebrate all kinds of culture and rejoice in the moment when culture begins—a "cultural festival."
What culture do you want to pass on to the next 100 years?
If you follow the path from Takanawa Gateway Station, you will arrive at the 2nd-floor entrance of MoN Takanawa. There, visitors are greeted by "The Gate to Future Culture," an interactive exhibition project of the MoN Festival.
Kengo Kuma, who designed the exterior of MoN Takanawa; Shinta Furuta, who voiced Dr. Saruta in “MANGALOGUE : HINOTORI”—a new manga experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in Narratives through the latest live-action space, which opened on April 22 at Box1000; andShinta Furuta, who voiced in the new manga experience “ ”—a new immersive experience set in the latest live-action space that began streaming on April 22 at —and Ano, who voiced Tamami, along with 32 other cultural creators, exhibited personal items related to “Culture We Want to Pass On 100 Years from Now.”
Beyond the gate, visitors can write down "cultural ideas they want to pass on to the next 100 years."
Many people gathered around the "Gate of Future Culture," and people of all nationalities, from Child to adults, submitted their own ideas about "cultures they want to pass on to the future." More than 5,600 cultural contributions were collected. It was a time for each and every visitor to MoN Takanawa to reflect on what they want to leave behind for 100 years to come.
