This exhibition allows visitors to relive the creation process of MoN Takanawa through videos and documents. Through videos and materials showcasing the concept design, Kengo Kuma's exterior design, Kajima Corporation 's construction work, and Pentagram 's logo design, visitors can reflect on the time it takes for a culture to be born.

The opening of MoN TAKANAWA will be a spectacular stage performance of Japan's proud traditional performing arts. Enjoy a spectacular competition featuring the three major storytelling arts of kodan, rakugo, and Gidayū-Bushi storytelling, performed by some of the finest contemporary performers.

Four stage backdrops painted by Chagall, owned by Aomori Museum of Art, are projected at their original size onto the giant LED screen attached to Box1000. As the performance progresses, the images change and scenes are altered, breathing new life into the stage backdrops of the ballet.

Japan's traditional performing arts are packed with advanced techniques honed over a long period of time. The "MoN Kabuki Dance Performance" will combine the pinnacle of modern-day techniques with video, as a foundation Transporting Culture for the next 100 years. By incorporating past arts and explanations of techniques, as well as new video direction, the performance will deliver a completely new kabuki experience, bringing the actors' performances closer to you through the use of superior techniques that have been passed down to the present day and cutting-edge video direction. Reconstructing kabuki as an "archive to be handed down to the future," it will present a new way of passing on traditional performing arts.
