What is the nearest station?
It's a 6-minute walk from Takanawa Gateway Station on the JR Yamanote Line and Keihin-Tohoku Line, and about a 3-minute walk from Sengakuji Station on the Toei Asakusa Line and Keikyu Main Line.
Is there parking available?
MoN Takanawa does not have its own parking lot. If you are coming by car, please use the affiliated parking lot within TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY.
Can I get there by taxi?
Yes. There is a drop-off area on the first floor where you can get off. Please note that there is no taxi stand inside the building, so please use the taxi stand in the transportation plaza when you leave.
Regarding the use of facilities
Is entry to the building free?
Yes. Anyone is welcome to enter the building freely. However, tickets may be required to view certain Program or participate in workshops.
When are Closed?
As a general rule, it's the second Tuesday of every month.
*In April, May, and August 2026, the museum will also be open on the second Tuesday of each month, with August 18th TUE. being Closed. There may also be other temporary closures due to maintenance, etc.
Is photography allowed inside the building?
Photography is permitted for personal use only. However, please refrain from using tripods or monopods. When using a selfie stick, please be considerate of other Everyone.
Please note that photography and videography may be prohibited depending on Program.
Is it okay if I post the photos I took on social media?
Yes, that's fine. When posting, please be sure to take full consideration of the privacy of other Everyone in your photos.

Please contact the Lost and Found Inquiry Desk (TEL: 0570-022-030 / Reception hours: 10:00 to 19:00, excluding Closed).
Is there free Wi-Fi available inside the building?
Yes. You can use "TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY FREE Wi-Fi".
Are pets allowed inside the building?
We regret to inform you that pets are not allowed inside the building.
*Assistance dogs (guide dogs, hearing dogs, and service dogs) are welcome to enter the building with you.
Do you offer facility rentals?
We also offer rentals to the general public, but a prior screening process is required. Please contact the facility reservation desk for details. For reservations of restaurants within the building, please contact each establishment directly.

Do you have wheelchairs or strollers available for rent?
Yes. We offer them for free, but the number is limited. If you would like to Everyone, please feel free to speak to a staff member when you visit.
Are there accessible restrooms and diaper changing facilities?
Each floor is equipped with a multi-purpose restroom and a diaper changing station.
*Please note that the multipurpose restroom on the 5th floor does not have ostomy facilities.
Is there a nursing room?
It's on the first floor.
Is there an information counter?
There is no permanent information counter inside the building. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any of our staff members.

Tickets are available for purchase through the official online ticket site, "MoN Takanawa Tickets." Some Program may also be sold through other ticket agencies; please check the individual Program pages for details.
Will there be on-site sales on the day of the event?
