As the gateway to Edo, Takanawa has long been a place where people have come and gone, admiring the changing seasons. A new cherry blossom experience that transcends time and space is born in this area, a place famous for its cherry blossoms since ancient times. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, "Tatami" is a tranquil space of 100-tatami space. Once you remove your shoes and step onto the tatami, high-definition drone footage projected onto the walls will transport you to the full-bloom cherry blossom scenery of various parts of eastern Japan, just like traveling on a Shinkansen bullet train. Experience spring with all five senses in a space filled with Japanese sweets and vibrant flower arrangements by master flower arrangers. We will also be holding a workshop where you can fullfill Tatami in cherry blossom pink with your own hands, using the Edo-period paper-cutting technique of "mon-kiri." Experience your own "100 Tatami Cherry Blossom Journey" in this special seat where everyone's feelings intersect and the past, present, and future intersect.

Experience stunning drone footage of Eastern Japan’s cherry blossom front. Like a view from the Shinkansen bullet train, these shifting landscapes from full bloom to the north awaiting spring, will surely inspire your next journey.

Sakuramochi has been a popular Japanese spring confectionery since the Edo period. We offer Chomyoji Sakuramochi, said to be the original, a favorite at cherry blossom viewing parties on the Sumida River in Tokyo. The soft texture, highlighting the artisan's handiwork, and the soft fragrance of the leaves will spread throughout your mouth. Enjoy a taste with all five senses as you journey into spring.
