Highlights
A new manga experience with a robotic arm
Navigating the experience is the robotic arm, "Astro Arm." Its camera at the tip projects its viewpoint onto a giant LED screen, diligently following the manga panels as if it were alive. While manga is usually read alone, here everyone present shares the same perspective, experiencing Narratives together.
Over 100 colored manuscripts by Osamu Tezuka brought to life on a giant LED screen
The performance will utilize over 100 newly colored original manuscripts, specially created TEZUKA PRODUCTIONS Co., Ltd. for screening in an LED theater. Based on the original black-and-white manuscripts drawn approximately 60 years ago, each sheet has been recolored by former assistants, respecting the original lines and page layout. By presenting the manga's artwork on a different scale and in a different environment than on paper, the audience can experience the power of the lines and the breadth of the colors from a different perspective than before.
A live performance with a star-studded cast
Narratives is set in the year 3404 AD. On stage, the cast, "MANGALOGUER" who interprets the manga Narratives with a robotic arm, will perform, along with a stellar cast of voice actors who breathe life into the characters. These performers will resonate with each other across time and space, delivering the energy that can only be experienced at a live performance.

Osamu Tezuka
Born in 1928, died in 1989.
He is one of Japan's leading manga artists, having laid the foundations for Japanese manga and television animation culture, and is known as the "God of Manga" for his groundbreaking achievements.
He brought to manga a panel layout reminiscent of cinematic camerawork, rich emotional expression, and a multi-layered Narratives structure through long stories, pioneering a new realm of expression.

The influence of his works has transcended generations and national borders, and has reached into today's manga and animation, as well as into visual expression as a whole.
Osamu Tezuka 's works are still read today and are highly regarded both at home and abroad as the starting point of creativity.
HINOTORI (Phoenix): Future
HINOTORI (Phoenix): Future is one of the 12 stories in the Phoenix series.
The story is set in the world after 3404 AD, the most advanced period in the series.
Published in 1967, this work unfolds against a Narratives of environmental degradation, the transformation of human society, and research into artificial life. The story depicts elements that evoke AI and cloning technology, reflecting the scientific views and visions of the future prevalent at the time. Within the overall structure of Phoenix which connects the past to the future, the "Future Arc" is positioned as an episode depicting the ultimate fate of humanity.

Born June 17, 1961, in Miyagi Prefecture. His major roles include "Soreike! Anpanman" (as Meiken Cheese, Uncle Jam, and Hippo), the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" series (as Ryoji Kaji), and the "Lupin the Third" series (as Inspector Zenigata). He has also dubbed foreign films for Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey, Will Smith, and Chris Pratt. As an actor, he has appeared in the NHK Taiga drama "The 13 Lords of the Kamakura" and the NHK morning drama "Anpan."

In 2013, he became the first person in history to win the Seiyu Award for Best Actor for two consecutive years. His voice has a "1/f fluctuation" sound that is said to have a healing effect on the human brain and mind. To commemorate his 20th anniversary as a voice actor, he launched the AI voice synthesis project "Soyogi Fractal."

He is currently a regular on the music program "EIGHT JAM." His recent major appearances include the stage play "Ichifuji Nasu Gyu Scorched Ruggie," the drama "Coach" (TX), and the films "Glory Back Home" and "Gorilla Hall." He will appear in the stage play "Musical Drama Porn Star" from March 2026, and Gekidan Shinkansen's "Akechiko!" from June.

He debuted as an artist under Toy's Factory in April 2022. He also appeared at the 74th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen with "Chu, Diversity," released in November of the same year. He is not limited to music, but is also active in a wide range of fields, including as a TV personality, actor, voice actor, and model. He held his first concert at the Nippon Budokan in September last year, and is scheduled to embark on a nationwide hall tour starting in March 2026.

Born in Neyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture in 1980. A comedian and author affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo. Formed the comedy duo "Peace" in 2003, where he is the funny man. In 2015, he won the Akutagawa Prize for "Hibana," a best-selling novel with a total of over 3.5 million copies in circulation. His major works include "Theater," "Ningen," and "Ikitoruwa."

Born Tokyo. Joined the Takarazuka Revue in 1991. Became the top musumeyaku (leading female role) of the Snow Troupe in 1994. Highly regarded as a once-in-a-century musumeyaku, she served as top star for over 12 years, the longest tenure in Takarazuka history. After leaving the company, she became a leading figure in the Japanese musical world, playing title roles in grand musicals such as "Elisabeth," "Marie Antoinette," and "Lady Bess." She has received numerous awards, including being the youngest recipient of the Kikuta Kazuo Theatre Award, the Yomiuri Theatre Award for Best Actress, and the Matsuo Performing Arts Theatre Division Excellence Award. This year, she will star in "Pagua" and, from July, in "AGATHA."

Born in Mie Prefecture in 1995. Actor and dancer. Participated in "THE CONVOY" for about 10 years. Since 2021, has toured 19 countries around the world as a dancer with "Sankai Juku". Has appeared in works by a variety of directors including Hideki Noda, So Kuramoto, and Akira Shirai. Using storytelling physicality as his weapon, he pursues expression that crosses the boundaries between theater and dance. His next work is "Mizuumi" (directed by Ruri Santo) at Theater Tram on July 10, 11, and 12.
Born in 1986. While living in the United States, she won the "Best Performer Award" at The Bessies New York Dance and Performance Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the dance world. In 2025, she appeared in Kenshi Yonezu's WORLD TOUR/JUNK. She also appeared in the stage play "Chi. -About the Movement of the Earth-".
