Tea culture: Encountering the world and Japan
As part of the TAKANAWA WORLD FESTIVAL 2026, MoN Takanawa will host an international cultural exhibition themed around "tea," as well as a special Children's Day Event. Surrounded by the aroma of tea, take off your shoes and rediscover your inner Child. On tatami mats made from tea leaves, immerse yourself in traditional Japanese games or savor local Japanese sweets and tea. Enjoy this "big gathering place" where the world and Japan gently intersect.

A 100-tatami mat tea room (Kashiwa mochi from Tamagawa-ya Sohachi)
To coincide with the Children's Day festival on May 5th, we have prepared kashiwa mochi (rice cakes wrapped in oak leaves) from Tamagawa-ya Sohachi, a long-loved shop in Takanawa, along with fragrant sencha green tea. Please enjoy this relaxing snack for family time. *Available for purchase on the day (Kashiwa mochi and tea set) *Due to limited quantities, this offer will end once supplies run out. *Please eat the kashiwa mochi inside Venue. *Only available on May 5th (Tuesday, public holiday)
